Ninox told us this issue does affect a small number of samples, but it is covered by the warranty so is nothing to worry about. The main issue I had with the mouse was to do with build quality – my sample creaked quite a lot when I gripped the sides of the mouse. if you're used to bigger and heavier mice, the Venator probably won't be for you – at the very least, it will take some adjusting to – but if you like small, fast mice it could be perfect. I got on very well with its smaller shape, and it suited my claw grip perfectly. Make sure to remove them before using the mouse. The Ninox Venator is an affordable mouse that boasts a PMW 3360 sensor, Omron switches and a lightweight design. PS: If you buy this mouse and you feel that it "scrapes" on your mousepad, remember that the stock mouse feet that come installed on the mouse have a plastic sheet covering both the top and the bottom feet. In my opinion quality product, 9.5/10 (do not like the textured side grips).
#NINOX VENATOR REDDIT DRIVER#
I've been going through quite a few mice lately and I'm proud to say that I'll be keeping this one as my daily driver for now :) Big thanks / props to /u/ninox_bst for making such a wonderful mouse. It is definitely a great mouse and I'll be sticking to it for now. Mine sweat a lot and I can handle it just fine. Unless you have super sweaty hands, you will be perfectly fine. They are not bad rubber like in other mice, it is just that the plastic of the shell has a "dotted" texture.

The only issue that bothers me are the textured sides. The light weight (79g) is awesome for low sensitivity players like me because it helps me become faster / be more agile with my movements on 400 DPI. It is very well built, it is solid and does not rattle. The second best mousewheel I've ever tested right after the one that is used on the Roccat KPOE.Ĭonclusion / overall feeling: This mouse is awesome. The placement and actuation of the wheel is excellent. Steps are well defined and it does not rattle at all. The DPI button is also put in a nice position and it is also nice to click. Easy to reach and with very nice and crisp clicks. Side buttons are absolutely fine and they are placed in a very good position. No wobble / rattle on any of its buttons. No other mouse that I have owned / tested in the past has clicks that are as good for MOBA type gameplay as this one. I believe it is absolutely fine, I've had no issues so far, works beautifully.Ĭlicks: The best clicks I have tested together with my G403. I can't tell if the mouse has any "weird sensor positioning" as some people might say. I am also faster because of the light weight of this mouse. These days I have been using it without putting the cable in the bungee and so far so good I have never noticed the cable during my movements. Does not drag, fits perfectly on my Zowie Camade mouse bungee. It gets the job done without any problem. That's just me, however.Ĭable: Plain rubber, very good. Also I do not like the fact that the UV cured coating makes me feel dust particles and / or "eventual grime" quite easily with my fingertips, which disgusts me a lot. I can handle it just fine, but I tend to sweat a lot and I have to rub my hands often on clothes to dry them. I'd prefer plain, flat plastic without any texture.

It is somewhat grippy on the top part of the mouse, but this "textured plastic" finish on the sides of the mouse is quite slippery if you have sweaty hands. I'm not very sure about the coice of the UV coating on the mouse.

Weight balance and distribution is excellent, as you would expect and the mouse weights 79 grams, which is a huge improvement for me coming from a 88-90g G403 (I play on 400 DPI). I thought this was supposed to be a quite small mouse, but even with my gigantic hands I can use it without problems. Shape, weight balance and distribution: I am quite surprised with the overall feeling of the shape. Here's my opinion / feedback on the mouse so far: I play mostly LoL and some PUBG / CS:GO to a pretty decent level. As per usual and for reference purposes, I have 21x10.8cm hands and I use finger tip grip, 1-2-2 finger placement, without my palm ever touching the mouse. I got my black Venator on friday, and I've been using it for two days.
